Interesting read...I might start messing around with some old plugs to see if any of this works >:D I'm def. game for better combustion. A very good point was also made in the interview section...why would you want to have any kind of resistance in your plugs or wires? I would think the lower the resistance the better :l

better use would result in higer piston speed, increasing rpm.

Also Krustindumm - when dealing with a higher rpm power band ... with a stock engine you end up losing power at the top end because of a restrictive air intake system(among other things) because the AFR is rich and it doesn't burn as well/as completely as a 14.7 of the same volume would. With a better spark isn't it possible to recieve a more complete combustion of the same volume of the sam AFR with a weaker plug ? The problem at high rpm is usually poor AFR, isn't it ? One way to deal would be to increase air ... wouldn't another be to have a better ignition source ?
AFR's are tuned

i'm not sure why, but the resistance reduces radio frequency interferance. Old cars sometimes had solid copper plug wires (like real old) but those were eliminated in favor of radios.

He said he idoled it down to 250 on his own. thats very possible. I'd like to see it in action.

I'ts obviously real It would be nice to give it a try and test it out just to see if this guys full of ---- or not. Anyone running a chipped ecu with a lambda and a burner could do it.

thats pretty smart.definitly going to try to test that.
