Re: New solution to Blowing Couplers
i used to find a way to zip tie ---- when i had my ghetto setup. I had PVC 90* elbows (---- anyone who says they melt, they lasted 35K miles on a D @ 10#'s) and i forgot how i did it but i'd ziptie everything to everything and it worked :P

Re: New solution to Blowing Couplers
just flare the end of the piping, or cut slits in the end of the pipe all the way around and bend it a little bit up. Welding a bead is a much better way

Re: New solution to Blowing Couplers
poor mans welding = http://search.harborfreight.com/cpis...=pipe+expander + couplers
they got em for alot cheaper.. there are the non screw ones which is basically a cone shape that you hammer into the pipe.. ittl expand one end of the pipe so you can jam the other end of the piping into it.. if i were to do it id expand both ends of the piping and cut a 3rd piece of piping to go inside both of them and the couples would never come offf at all |
