Re: New Motor, 1000 Miles?
Um, is it a brand new OEM motor?

Re: New Motor, 1000 Miles?
It had 30,000 Miles on it, but i pulled it apart and put all new gaskets in it.

Re: New Motor, 1000 Miles?
You are cleared for boost. Carry on.

Re: New Motor, 1000 Miles?
Are you sure i dont need to let the gaskets sit right before i beat the hell out of it, i put 400 miles on it already, i just wana be sure so i dont blow the damn thing.

Re: New Motor, 1000 Miles?
If you're that worried about it, drive the damned thing another 600 miles. If not, then proceed with turboing it.

No it's, "If you're that worried about it, don't ever put a turbo on it." ;)
I woulda put the turbo on it from the get go. Gaskets don't mean ----. It would be the rings/bearings that would make you think about not turboing it, but even then I'm not sure that it makes ---- of a difference. |

Re: New Motor, 1000 Miles?
Im not worried about it, i just dont want to ---- up the motor, i spent lots of money on it, i got new rings and new berrings, cause i heard those oem dont last too long.

Re: New Motor, 1000 Miles?
Did you atleast build it up, or is it all OEM internals? Because thats a lot of work for just an OEM build to be turbo'd.
