New member intro NSFW
Hey, Ive been on this site for a few months now and noticed theres alot of great info here so I made an account not too long ago. I live in Canada, Ive got a 2003 Civic that was my DD but after market parts cost too much up here for a new car so I picked up a 88, which is now a parts car for a 1990 shell i got for free.
The 1990 is my current project, the plans are to throw in a b18a1, boost it, and do a custom stereo build, plans for the set up are still open, but right now im thinking of makin a box in the shape of rear seats, with 2 12s in the "backrest" part, 2 10s in the "ass" part and 1 12 in the center firing forward. Right now my budget is directed towards the turbo build. I've got a B18a1 with cable tranny ready for transplant as soon as more snow melts away so I can have a buddy come and and weld up the motor mount. I am starting a HMT build, so far ive got the following parts: Turbo set up: Holset he351cw EG half rad and slim fan ARC bov Turbonetics WG Turbonetics MBC No name cast manifold Golden eagle oil sandwich- waiting to be shipped from a buddy in cali Golden eagle vacuum block Audio set up 2x 10 Kicker CVR's 2x 12" Kicker CvR's 1x 12" Kicker Solobaric L7 Re audio XXX 6.5 Comps Eathquake Audio Vtek 6.5 Comps 2x Rockford 500watt RMS monoblock amps 1x 2 channel Poweracoustik amp for 2 speakers 1x 4 channel Alpine V12 Stinger 0 AWG amp wiring kit Monster RCA cables Tsunami +/- terminals Tsunami 40 farad cap Clarion flip out dvd deck Clarion 40gb navigation unit The engine is stock but im pretty sure it was rebuilt (long story on history of engine) I plan on running 10-12 PSI until i rebuild it after i get my licence back and a new tranny for my 03 so i can use it as my DD. O yeah, and i plan on doing all the work myself other than the welding and tuning.
