Stumbled upon this site while doing research for my turbo build: 1972 240Z shooting for 400 rwhp out of a stock 26 year old block!

Plans:
Stock 280ZXT block, head and rotating assembly
Early, non-EGR intake
Stock turbo manifold
27-32" FMIC w/ 2.5" tubing
60mm TB upgrade
MSII w/ Ford EDIS-6
Supra 440cc injectors on custom fuel rail
And a few other bits anda pieces.
Oh ya, a bigger turbo, too

Wife has a 1971 510 that I'm trying to convince her to drop a KA24ET into

Anyway, located in San Diego, CA and probably will find out I know several people on this site already!

sounds like a kool project .. and a plus u dont need to smog it .. im from nor cal and the cops hate anything not stock soo looks like u wont be getting harassed as much ha

Thank you thank you. Yes, I'm a Dattoholic! This is my 3rd Z and my wife's first Datto. My 4th Z is actually sold; it was a Grand Challenge competitor that unfortunately failed due to ridiculous technical difficulties; although we're trying to get it running for the final races (see sdgrandchallenge.com)

This is my first turbo engine build, so I plan to learn a lot while building it up. I will eventually post up with a few technical questions so that I can determine which turbo will be best for my application, but know that it will be an EDUCATED question vs "what turbo should I put on my XXXXX? I want to go fast!" question. Aaaaand it will be its own thread
