Jobs are tight in MI, but atleast jay is working.

But then again I'm making $1300 a month driving around 20 hours a week. With gas surcharges last year I made $17,000.

My advice is to get training to do some sort of skilled job. Have you ever thought about the military? I joined out of HS and they trained me to do a job that payed 25/hr when I got out. Not every job they train people for is worth that, some are probably worth more, you have to do your homework. But if you were like me and mom/dad weren't going to foot the bill for anything it's really the best way. You do your time, get what you can and get out. I don't know what kind of money they are offering as bonus now, but when I went in it was 10-20k depending on the job you went into.

Yeah..high school diploma+2year vocational training+ 2 semesters at college and I STILL can't get hired around here because everyone and there brothers, dads and uncles are construction workers. The only option I have left is the military and I need to get into shape before I jump into that, but if i can hack it, hopefully people will look at my application alittle harder. I was busting my *** 10-12 hrs a day doing bitch construction work for $10 an hour (wheelbarrows of concrete down a plank-way into a basement for 6-7 hours is fun) I would love to have your job, especially right now.
