Then up the boost, grab some slicks, and keep going back to the track until you get into the 11's :)

Re: new hotness (manifold)

I haven't seen a Neukin before on HMT. How much of an improvement did it make?

i have to retune it, feels the same @ 12 psi as it did on 14. maybe ill get some ripper videos later.

ive never seen one of those manifolds before

Re: new hotness (manifold)

mine aint a neukin but of the same design, RLD-FAB , but just bolting it on makes a big difference, from the blox cast I had on there. but it raises my full boost time on the sc61 to 5000 rpm from 4500 rpm but its a lot better. plus smoother boosting.

I am starting to feel like I am selling out from my hmt roots. I am switching to hondata s300 next from uberdata. is this a bad thing?
I still do all the work myself, does this still make me hmt? because I swear by hmt.

Why not run Crome?

exactly, thats what im running. ive seen alot of the local guys here running the neukin mannys. power does come on a lil faster and smoother compared to the log

We run the RLD on 88crex's ITR...nice manifold for sure.

Yes and no.

You want better ---- because you want to make more power with a minimum of hassle. That's fine.
However, that Hyundaidata ---- is sellout Brand Name crapola. You'll be happier with Crome Pro, trust me.

Re: new hotness (manifold)

never liked hondata, the logging was pretty slow for my taste. i do how ever love the dual maps so you can antilag @ the line

rudebwoy 06-11-2006 08:28 AM

Re: new hotness (manifold)

the reason for hondata s300, my boy have it, and every now and then I borrowed it, and I only need 2 runs to tune to a perfect wot tune.
uberdata takes too many runs plus I have to always pull over, and shut down and its not easy to do on my own. plus I had a perfect tune, and last night I was running 9 afr rich, and when I was at the track I raised my rev limit to 9100 and was running 2100 afr lean above 8600rpm.
crome throws cels every now and then in my ecu, and I don't know why, plus to use the rtp I need a ostrich, the main reason why I thinking about hondata, is the rtp, and its a very easy program to use, I like it a lot, I just don't like the price
I have the rtp board from xenocron, but I havent tried it yet. I spend too much time on tuning, and I do a upgrade almost every month, so I always retune.

Tom-Guy 06-11-2006 12:30 PM

Re: new hotness (manifold)

You haven't used any of the recent versions of Crome, or recent plug-ins. Trust me, I've been tuning a lot of cars since 1.1.8-1.2.0.24, the stability and interface and results are continually improving.

rudebwoy 06-11-2006 12:39 PM

Re: new hotness (manifold)

I am getting to lazy, plus tired of always working on issues with tuning.

Re: new hotness (manifold)

Hondata's full of bugs, too, bro.

I have heard of some, but never experienced, or seen them in person, I am currently using my boy's hondata, and I love it, switching back and forth between b16 cams to GSR cams to Skkunk 2 to Crowers, and I can tune them with a few runs, instead of 2-5 hours of tuning. plus my car idles a lot better, on hondata, I can't seem to get the idle control to work in either uberdata or crome.

Tom-Guy 06-11-2006 09:54 PM

Re: new hotness (manifold)

I never mess with idle control. IACVs are worthless, I just set my idle at the TB stop and go.
