Canadian swifts came turbo'd and the closest thing we ever got was the Chevy Sprint turbo for 2 years in the 80's.

The swift never came turbo, some variants of the swift, like the geo metro and pontiac firefly had a 1.0liter turbo version...

Power wise there are several swifts pumping 300+bhp on 1.3 liters but the most common is around 180bhp, when things start to get complicated and expensive...
