The 22 felt like a pee shooter to me, although I did like it. The 45 kinda hurt after shooting, but it's a good pain >:D

Just got back from Dad's, ran another 200 rounds through the XD and as everything is starting to break in and operate smoother I'm really starting to like the gun. I'm not the greatest shot with it but it is obvious the gun is quite accurate, need to buy a few more boxes of Winchester White Box ($21 per 100rds at Wal Mart) and then some reloading equipment.

im talking about a revolver,and lets just say i caught me off guard this was the first time a shot a .45, he only let me fire the .22 and the 9mm

The difference is between a revolver, and a semi-auto. The slide absorbs some of the energy and helps distribute the rest evenly. A revolver is a direct connection between your hand and the cartridge. I can rapid fire a .45 auto, but a .45 revolver will go tip-up on me every time.

In the case of a mis-fire (bad cartridge), instead of re-racking the slide to clear it...you just pull the trigger again :D :y #2 benefit is intimidation short story = Cop I knew once told me that he drew his pistol (S/A) on this guy and the guy just looked at him and said, "---- you, pig!" and took off running. After a very short foot chase his partner caught up with him and drew his revolver. The guy proceeded to immediately ---- his pants (literally), put his hands behind his head and lay face down on the ground without even being asked. ;D |
