NICE deal.....everything except that ricer dash heh i see that silver or grey.....those only come in black......slam it those wheels can look very good on that car....cf hood cf duckbill rooof painted black.....that thing could be real sweet...

i thought it had the z6 motor in it...not stock of course but i could have sworn someone said that a few posts up .....either way things you would notice with the vtec-e motor is not hearing vtec...and sweet gas mileage...those motors were designed as emissions vehicles...as if just owning a honda wasnt enough....the vtec deal isnt your average vtec it only lifts more on the intake or exhaust side not both....i should know which one i just forget......but either way they stilll make just as much power as the z6 or y8 just a little different thats all

Wrong......a vx engine makes about 90hp. It's a 1.5. The z6 makes around 125hp and it is a 1.6.

NOW the HX engine on the 96+ civic is a 1.6 vtec-e that makes about 115hp as opposed to the 127 the y8 makes.

So for his year that hatch and engine does not make about the same power as a z6 or a y8. On the next gen civic the HX engine does make about 10hp less that the other two.

98 hp on the z1 i believe. its slow as *****. but ima clean it up so it will be a nice little daily.

hey as long as you can keep that in your head and try not to act on it. Good. It will give you good *** gas mileage and will be a reliable comuter.

problem is, we all say that, and end up messing around with the cars anyways. My WRX was supposed to go untouched. that lasted about 2 days.

The only one I haven't touched yet is the Element, and that's just because the civic is getting some love right now, and the subaru is in the shop getting repainted. Once I'm done with those two who knows. A turbo element sounds fun........

yea i have already thought bout putting the turbo kit on this instead, and some suspension, and wheels, etc etc. But i gotta keep in mind my ef is a lot closer to being boosted than this car. ill pry just clean this car up, drive it a little and sell it to make some profit. i wonder how much i could sell it for? who knows.

depend on how clean you can get it.
swap a d or non vtec b and call it a day.. 2800? 3000 if you get it real clean interior looks a little ehhhkk

eh, leave the current engine if its a d, and in decent condition if its just a daily driver
