Re:new cars VS old cars

Get an old 90-94 eclipse gsx, they are pretty quick stock and easy to upgrade and the stock block can take like 400hp. They aren't the sweetest lookin cars but you could make a badass sleeper out of one.

Re:new cars VS old cars

go out and test drive the stuff on crx88si's list and see what you think of them. All are pretty fast but have way different characteristics and personalities, it depends on what you like.

Screw the new car...if you got 20 grand or so to spend, get a 1993-98 Toyota Supra Twin Turbo. You'll NEVER regret it. The sweetest car on the road!! (and NOT BECAUSE OF THE FAST AND FAGGYIST)

Semnos 01-05-2004 02:27 PM

Re:new cars VS old cars

Or try the 350Z or the RX8

350z
Svt cobra( witht he super chargers those fuckers are fast!)
My dream car would be a skyline but those are the hardest to find plus that too exspensive. Thier faster than a supra though

imadouche 01-05-2004 07:03 PM

Re:new cars VS old cars

um, i dont know how to "bye" a car.....

Anywho, i would probably get a used car from 99 or earlier. If i had 20k, i would probably buy a camaro ls1 with a blower. What can i say, i love the idea of a V8

If you buy that car I will hate you forever. I'm in love with several different cars, but that one is on the top of the list. I came as close as to talking to a dealership and exchanging information with them about getting it. That payment scared the ---- out of me and my insurance would have been around $350 a month with a $1000 deductable. I was looking at those before they even made a 5 speed for it. That was my only con about it, but they have that fixed now. 8)

Re:new cars VS old cars

today i test drove the srt4,SE-r,and the wrx sti. the srt4 was fast its was nice that it is turbo to start with but again the car has been maxed out with options for porformance. the SE-r was nice and "quiet" i could barley hear my engine, but it had some nice torqe through 1st and 2nd, and gears and cluch wear strong easy shifting. but i think the wrx sti took the cake today, it was dame fast. but pricey as ----. ---- i got in it and the guy said have you ever been in a car like this befor. i say no so he was like punch the pedal to the floor. it ------- throu my self back in to the seat.but like i said to much so tomoorow i will test drive the rsx,z28,and the mazda-speed. let you guys no whats up with them tomoroow

Re:new cars VS old cars

Hey ---- the new RX8 they are ungly, but what about just getting like a 95 RX7 tween turbo? Them are sick... I do love the STi's but for the price i'd settle the RX7 it probably be like 2x cheaper?
