They are very dependable with that chip and the power increase is there, however as heavy as those cars are, the amount of hp they make really doesnt cut it. If you talk turbo upgrades then yea baby, GTi can spank some cars. 03 Wrx STi would be in ur price range and spank some ricer ***.

Saab 9-2x
I'm about to buy one, 220 hp 3200 lbs i think, about 25,000 on sale right now 6,000 off.
Its basically a WRX wagon that has some luxury thrown in better, steering and suspension.
When I say its a Suby I mean they use the same body, AWD system etc.

ive located a couple used WS6's in my price range

i just need to decide if i want to buy something or keep the fleet i have now
