I say do the dirty D, only because you already have it, and if you have $1100 to buy a h22 why not put the 1100 into that D? You could build a pretty bad *** D with $1,100.

d15 all the way!!!! no really, i would go with LS/VEEtech. finding a good tranny will be a bitch as you said, thats about the only thing i see thats a con with going that route. H22 is good and Cheap for all motor but then again you would have to spend more $$ for boost applications due to those weak *** ring lands and shitty cylinder walls.
