Haha, n1ghtm0nkey nailed it. It is the SS Supercharged I just took all the lame badges off to give it a cleaner look, and a 2.0 liter N/A or otherwise that makes 205hp and 200tq is hardly weak in my book. The caliber is supposed to have an SRT version later on making a claimed 300hp, they are ugly as hell and I don't want one. I got a great deal on this car and it is a lot of car for the money, this thing drives better than just about every new car I've test driven.

One of the SRT-4 guys the other night was telling me about the new Caliber SRT-4... supposed to have a mini-fridge for keeping drinks cool, and comes base with the stage 3 SRT-4 package. Sounds pretty pimp... not my style, but those cars run strong.
The regular caliber has that fridge option. you just need to have A/C.

the SRT version is supposed to have 300+hp. not too shabby.

and i for one like the Caliber's looks, maybe i'm getting old.

The only thing really wrong with the SRT caliber that's coming out is that you can't get it in the AWD version, just FWD, if it was coming in AWD I'd probably be getting one.

Yeah, because having a tiny four cylinder haul around a 3000 lb car across 25% AWD drivetrain loss is a real bright idea, huh? Sounds to me like more slow, pathetic Evo/WRX/STi bullshit with drivetrains of glass. And you also like the belt driven rearend, without any track record to let you know if it's even remotely reliable?

Lemme guess... next you'll tell me you think $200 Supra fuel pumps are superior to $85 shipped to the door Walbro 255 HP... or that your wife is hot. :P

Random question. Is that fuel pump a denso part? Toyota doesn't really make ---- but the interior and unibody, and interor electronics.

Probably, but I don't remember. The DSM (and some other) guys seem convinced it's a superior part, when in reality the only time it outflows the 255 HP is at low pressure aka idle, and then only if the pump is getting over 14 volts.

Here, this thread has links to pump flow figures: http://www.honda-tech.com/zerothread/1676516

no ----, on jbody.org, there's a guy making 350ish stock block and hes really the only one to push it so far. hes doing something around 11.90's at 115, but thats the 2.2 eco. The motor in the s/c'ed cobalt ss's and redlines which is the LSJ comes forged up from the factory and people are already making over 400 with them on turbo/nitrous setups, stock block of course. I should have known though. D series>>>>>>>>all
