Re: New Car
I wouldn't want my SS to be confused with a ****** LS.
I almost got suckered into the same 0% financing deal you did but they wouldn't rebate the car any further than the sticker price. I decided I've already got one sport compact and I don't need another.

Re: New Car
Huh? I thought this was the Cobalt SS? Or am I tired/misreading?
One of the SRT-4 guys the other night was telling me about the new Caliber SRT-4... supposed to have a mini-fridge for keeping drinks cool, and comes base with the stage 3 SRT-4 package. Sounds pretty pimp... not my style, but those cars run strong.

Re: New Car
I'm pretty sure the LSD and Recaros are SS Supercharged options only.
Caliber SRT-4's, while *fast* are still butt ------- ugly. The one good way to screw up a car is to try and make it look like too many things at once.

And as far as weak 4 "cylander" goes...
It's not as impressive as Honda's 06 Si making ~200hp with 2 liters N/A, but it does make up for it with some torque. Plus to have a supercharger from the factory is more fun IMO than a regular N/A motor. I also assure you that it's not just a cavalier with a wing. I've ridden in and driven plenty of cavaliers and they are the bane of my existance. I hate them.
However this is much different, the interior was very comfortable (recaro seats) and easy to look at (higher quality materials + autometer boost gauge) and the layout generally doesn't suck nearly as much as a cavalier. Plus with all the high quality parts (pirelli tires, autometer boost gauge, recaro seats, lightweight flywheel, lsd, etc) Chevy installed on it...it's really a nice car right off the lot.
Do some research before you hate on ----, this isn't ------- Honda-Tech.
