im thinking i might wanna try shrooms. ive been reading about the effects etc. i think imma try it with another friend and have our other friend make sure we dont do anything to stupid.from what i understand, the worst part is the taste, but if we get them, there already put into chocolate. im worried about the neg effects havent talked to anyone who has tried them first hand

I tried them about 5 months ago, I honestly thought I was going to ------- die. Worst trip I have ever had in my entire life. A few hmt members saw me that terrible night.... I remember looking at beau and thinking holy ---- you look like your 600lbs, and my friend mike looked like hitler.

The ones in the chocolate dont taste bad at all. Theres a good chance you wont do anything stupid. It might mess with you if think more with emotions than you do with logic, and have a more extroverted thinking style. If not you should be fine. Just make sure you dont have to do anything for about 7 hours.

Plus, dont do what I did... I didnt eat all day, took 4 1000mg of Vit C, 4 beers then I ate 1/8th... waited a hour then ate another 1/8th.

i tend to think differently compared to most people, but i am a calm person. kinda just wanted someone around in case i start freaking out someone can help calm me down. ive always been cool though when i smoke drink or do both. what do u recommend doasge wise? im 235lbs.

LOL Jeff you took a whole quarter your first time out? Man, start with a cap and a stem the first time out, and remember potency varies with species, harvest, time since harvest, etc.

They are good to do when out camping in the woods or with a big group of friends all doing them as well.I use to be able to walk across the street and pick them so i have done shrooms more then once.

I did em several times, just make sure youre with someone else who is trippin and DONT EAT ALOT, i usually ete half an 1/8 or an 1/8, one time i ate a 1/4 and when home cuz i thought they were fake, holy ---- freaked out in my room for 9 hours

i did them ounce a while back. and would never do it ever again, i had a bad trip.
it started off when all my friends got ---- faced and said lets pop them, it being 3 in the morning. i had just smoked like a 3 gram blunt to my dome, then poped an 1/8 of them on a piece of pizza.. wasnt to bad at first, when i went outside all i remember seeing was like little dworf huts all over the place.. kinda trippy, and my friend thought his shoe was talking to him lol. but then i just started to bug out cause another friend just fucked with me big time.

defintely would never do it again

I used to do them often. In all I've probably done them 30 or 40 times.

If it's your first time you really need to do everything you can to ensure you don't have a bad trip, because many times people have bad trips on their first time and then never do it again. Once you learn to control your emotions while shrooming you really open yourself up for some awesome experiences.

For your first time here are a few tips:

1. Be in a comfortable place with a few close friends. Make sure you don't have to drive etc.
2. Plan to be there for 6 to 8 hours with no responsibilities.
3. Have a "sitter". Someone who is sober (preferably who has done shrooms before) to be with you and make sure you don't hurt yourself. They can also talk you out of a bad trip if they are experienced.
4. Turn your phone off for the entire trip. You will understand this once you start tripping.

There are many more things you can do to have a good trip but I'll just write the basics.

Shrooming can be an amazing experience. One of my fondest memories was sitting in a park one sunny afternoon with three friends just talking and smoking cigarettes all day. It was awesome just laying in the grass and talking.

first time i took them i put an 1/8th in a peanut butter sandwich. It was pretty fun watching skate videos, but everytime i would go to the bathroom the mirror would creep me out :S
you can tell when they kick in by holding your hands in front of you and watcing to see if your fingers start to shrink :y
if you try to go to sleep, make sure you have some really calm music to keep your mind occupied...
oh yeah, i dont recommend doing an 1/8th the first time unless you have 13 hours to be nutty :-*

on a side note, they are fun on holloween if someone else is driving :y

I took a bag of shroom shake before a 311 concert, damn it was a sweet show, and some fucked up ---- was happening at the show and being on shrooms didnt help matters much

omg, so true..I remember looking outside and seeing the streetlight polls completely bent over, they looked like huge ass noodles waving around. The stuff I remember the most was watching my ceiling fan and my ssauto turbo sitting on my banister.. both were obviously not spinning but holy ---- in my head they sure were!

When I absoultly freaked is when I sat and watched the clock.... I wanted the experience to be over and it felt like it was going on for hours and hours. So I sat and watched the clock and it did not move at all. Scary ----. The body high was alot better than I was expecting, so that was cool.

So if you do them, do them slow. Dont be stupid and just shovel the whole bag in your pie hole.

shrooms are cool (once in a while) yeah they taste bad, i like to put mine inbetween oreo's (shroom sandwhich) the most important thing is to know the people your gonna do them with, and be in good surroundings....you dont wanna go somewhere and listen to people argue or anything like that. so make sure your w/fun people @ a fun place if not you will have a bad trip. id also say you should try them with someone who has shroomed before. oh and it might make you feel sick to your stomach (because your eating fungi grown in fucked up ----). for the longest time i never had problems w/ my stomach...untill a friend said how it fucks up his stomach (i wasnt shrooming when he told me) and after that i felt the same thing. but they are fun, but i also found out you do have to take time off before you try it again......i did shrooms 1 day and had a great trip, so i tried to shroom the next day but i didnt feel anything off them.

mush tastes like bread too me, but my trip on saturday night was ------- wild. we went camping and behind where i was, there was a small rave, with a bunch of kids on E, so that was quite the experience, and i thought the one girl's arm was a glow stick 8)

Mushroom potency varies around a LOT. Just dealing with P. Cubensis aka classic "little brown mushrooms," I've had two small 'shrooms put me where a whole 1/4 of some other stuff couldn't. You have to sample lightly, wait an hour and a half to two hours (had a strong batch not hit me for three hours, though, be warned!) and then eat more based on how you feel. Nothing against a strong trip; those are really fun. Everything against freaking the ---- out.

I've mixed shrooms with eleven difference substances seperately, and six *at the same time*. I just kept in mind that most drugs are synergistic: meaning 1 + 1 does not equal two, it equals fourteen... and 1 + 1 + 1 equals four hundred and seventy-six... the whole is *more* than the sum of what you consume. Only time I had a problem was when I ate an 1/8th of really good shrooms and accidentally drank out of the bottle with the straight GBL in it instead of the juice blend, and had a schizophrenic break from reality. That was ------- wierd. What I remember of it anyway. :S

the only time i did shrooms i bought a little over a 1/4 , me and my buddy got stoned one day and ended up getting the munchies and eating the whole bag, lol.

i think the important thing to do when taking hallucinogens ( spell?) is to just remind yourself that your just tripping and none of that ---- your seeing ( or talking to) is real. once i took 4 hits of acid and went to work, i worked at a gas station woohoo!!

i say take a handfull and go to the mall...

I've been told that when using shrooms to mix them with a chocolately substance when taking them. It helps cover up the nasty taste. It just so happens I was also given a 'recipe' too.

Little bit of water
Hot Chocolate mix


Mix into a paste. Dip shrooms in and chomp them down. I might try them later. I was in a debate between shrooms and LSD, we'll see.

Only tryptamine I ever took that I liked was TMA-2; in small to medium doses very mild and mescaline-like, pronounced spatial distortions with no hard visuals or excessive body load. I understand 5-MeO-AMT isn't exactly 5-MeO-DMT, but after my unpleasant experience with that I kinda sorta said "no ------- thank you" to the rest of the 5-methoxy flavors. I might try actual DMT still; been contemplating phalaris grass tea + MAOI over the years.

what's with the pothead hate? I smoke it once every few days and don't see myself as a "dumb" person...

Anyways, only other crap I've tried is DXM...which I don't think is too good for your brain and I hate the after effects. Wanna try lsd, but in Alabama I can't quite find the right people...people here do meth and crack and I'm not touching that crap.

So how can I get some shrooms? Just go look for some cow poo in a field? Put it in a jar like the other guy said?

Don't just go pick them. Here in Oregon at least there are thousands of varieties of mushrooms in the forrest and 99% of them look similar to eachother.

Be safe and get some from someone you trust, if that's possible.
