So this weekend we're going to be installing the cage so I can race at woodburn on October 2nd for their last import drags. I need to get this done so that I will be allowed to make an 11 sec or faster pass down the track. Just wondering what color you guys think would look best inside the bullet. Black would make it less noticable and keep the sleeper look, where as silver would match the outside of the car... So let me know what you guys would do! Also if you have any other suggestions, post up!!! Thanks in advance!

well I do like the color pink but I know my BF would shoot me if I ever went through with any of my past threats of making anything on my car pink :-X So I think that ones out... Sorry Dustin :P

100% flat black. the less noticable the better. cops will be watching you like a hawk if it was silver or any other light color.

Oh how you crack me up! I totally forgot about the mexican gold... We could have a winner here!

As far as the cage, or I shoud say roll bar goes, we went with the art morrison 6pt roll bar without the back seat option. Beau is actually the one that bought it, kind of a very late b-day present ;D

Oh BTW Steve I should be giving you your injectors back very soon, again I appreciate you loaning them to me!

The cage is going inside the car i.e. there will be lots of contact with it. Maybe it's just me but flat black would get dirty in a hurry, and flat black doesn't clean up well. But black has my vote. Just gloss black. Powdercoated if possible! ;)

I would go with a satin black, not flat but not shinny. I think that would match your car perfect ;)

i agree with agent murdoch. Paint it gunmetal. My friends prelude is silver on the outside and we painted his rollcage gunmetal and it looks unbelievably good, its sick. gunmetal is the way to go as i have seen it done already and it keeps your sleeper look all the while still kepping it looking amazing

In light of keeping you from getting uneccessarily pulled over more frequently...I'd go with black, or flat black or whatever. The most un-noticable color possible. As fun as Mexican gold would be, and it would be damn fun, it along with pink would definitley draw the attention of the cops. We can't have you being late to work...or to the track because some polidiot decides he wants to pull over some chick with a roll cage. :-\ Fun cars aren't as fun when you're getting the red white and blue reflection in your rear view every other day.

mexicans are stupid, paint it gunmetal, and if you end up doing it black, do satin/semigloss not flat. flat black is overused out there

silver on silver would look tacky/rice. definitely a GM/Black/or even (if the welds are clean) a clearcoat over the natural finish. that would look hot as well.

I say try to get some spray that matches your car.It wont be that noticable.I think from far it will foll the eye and blend in.

My roll bar was white and it stuck out like a sore thumb :-\
