Re:Need for speed underground
I beat NFSU a week ago, and the end is pretty boring, it just ends, Oh My! Your right, number 71 was hard, but i eventually got it, im having hte most fun with the drifting, its really tricky to get it right. I found that the skyline is the best drifter, and using the handbrake helps to get the car sliding quickly, before you hit a wall waiting for the rear to slide out when putting power to the wheels.

Re:Need for speed underground
YeAh..im sorry but Grand Turismo has every racing game beat
hands down you can adjust some many different things. the options are almost limitless. The only people i hear that don't like it are the ones that like games like Underground and other related. they don't like the options because they don't know what they mean. and they usually use an AUTO when racing too because they can't focus on the road and having to shift the gears while racing It's an OK game when you wanna let go from reality and hit the NOSSSSSSSS button...but that's about it. Putting the body kits on is kinda coo. Be better if you could actually enter the car into shows but i guess it would be underground i think the best gaming mode on there that GT doesn't have( but probably will now) is the DRIFTING COMPETITION. NOW that SHyAT iS FUNN :o ;D |
Re:Need for speed underground
my friend pointed out that NFSU is one of the first games that you can watch somebody play and still be extremely excited about what is going on. i love the drag racing, my best time on that so far is 22.43, what did everyone else get?

I haven't played the NFS games yet but I do have the GT3. I wish they let you turbo and increase bore on anything, but I guess its room for improvement.
For all the really tech junkies, go get IHRA drag racing for PS2. This game lets you create your own motors. I'm talking bore, stroke, valve size, #of cylinders, everything. Choose from like every turbocharger ever made and make custom a/r's. Compression ratio's, timing, all that ----. There's no honda's, but just imagine a new camaro tuned by Stealthmode to have the biggest and baddest of every engine component and he pulls up to the line, and all you hear is detonation. It's fucken great. Clack Clack Clack Clack BOOOOOOOOMMMM! |
Re:Need for speed underground
can i get a crappy V6 camaro? like every one that i see here in dallas? can i add a dual exhaust so an idiot would think that it's a V8 model?
im just ------ with ya. i do think it's funny that you can get a 1g neon in NFSu, it's also cool that whatever level you are at most of the cars are equaly competitive |
Re:Need for speed underground
The games kinda booty but hey we the ones that bought em, and they the ones strollin' in their Lambos and Ferraris.
For all ya confused fellerz, "they" is referring to the makers. |

My last console was the super nintendo |
Re:Need for speed underground
you can play gta2 on the internet....we should have a GTA2 HMT style multiplayer challenge...that would kick ass...we just need a server ;)
Thats my idea for the week... |
Re:Need for speed underground
Has anyone heard anything about street race sindicate (I think that's what it's called)? I saw it as a preview on a web site a while ago, xbox.ign.com I think, and it said you could customize parts kind of like NFSU. Just thought I'd see if anyone else had heard of it! ;D
