I haven't played the underground version yet, but I heard it's got online play which if i were going to play online, I wouldn't want everyone having the same style and color car as mine... |

Re:Need for speed underground
Last I heard, GT4 will be released as a PS2 game. Its being developed on the PS2 platform so why would they release it for the rumored PS3. Like I said, last I heard.
|
Re:Need for speed underground
I gotta get the game even if it is rice, I'll admit that on occassion I've though of a body kit, but if I can get that out of my system, then ----, the game is worth it.
Watch out, I'm gonna shift--- chink so lame. GT4 will dominate my life... |
Re:Need for speed underground
how does need for speed underground work? Is it just you pay $3k and you get a turbokit...or can you actually pick components like ls/vtec, raise or lower the compression, size of the turbo, size of the nitrous shot...and so on....if you can do that ----...then i may have to buy a ps2 and not boost my LS
|
Re:Need for speed underground
uh, you can pick brand packages. they don't make any difference, you just get to pick them to be cool.
all weight reduction kits are sparco! you can't do anything with the compression. and no way in hell you can do an ls/vtec. if they took the time to do all the frankensteins for all the motors of all the cars they'd have an 8 disc game that would be barely playable. be happy that they included the 99-00 Si (SiR) |
Re:Need for speed underground
No you just buy "turbo" you can choose which brands of things you want but thats it that I'm aware of.
I played the game at home and its addicting I loved it. It wont work on my computer, I'm guessing its because of my video card. I'm going to swap one at home and try that later...hopfully it works :( Anyways its definitely a fun game to say the least. I'd like to play it online. |
Re:Need for speed underground
hahaha lol Need for speed underground is kinda lame when selecting turbo kit's etc.
It doesn't matter what you choose you just have a choice between packages...since when does Arospeed have turbo components??? |
Re:Need for speed underground
dude wtf its just a game... talk about people who rip on games, very sad. to me this IS the best racing game made.. and yes i've played all the GT games. GT3 is by far #2 on my list. btw name off parts of a turbo kit that can ge applied? like package 1: i think each packages has 4 brands on it.. name off some stuff that each and everyone is different that makes turbo parts for all cars.

Re:Need for speed underground
My last console was the super nintendo :-\ :-\
|
Re:Need for speed underground
i liked playing the game for a few days until i got stuck on race 71 out of 111. my stupid ass keeps hitting walls and oncoming traffic, and i can't turn off my PS2 because then i would lose all my info because my ass clown friend dropped it so now my memory card slots don't work.

Re:Need for speed underground
---- this 20 car game. when gt4 comes, ya'll be wishin you never layed eyes on dis biznatch.
|
Re:Need for speed underground
when is it coming out anyway?
|
Re:Need for speed underground
I got MFS Underground like 2 or 3 weeks ago. Kinda cool but the stuff you HAVE to get to get ahead are gay.
I got a black puegot 206 with black vinyl graphics. So cool. Black on black on black on black on black. That's right baby four layers of vinyl. I haven't played it for about a week or two, and I don't think I've seen any APC so that's good. Or wait do they? I know they have one cheesey brand. Oh well, got kinda boring like midnight club 2. But then again this is a whole lot better than midnight club 2. -Murdoc |

Re:Need for speed underground
I beat NFSU a week ago, and the end is pretty boring, it just ends, Oh My! Your right, number 71 was hard, but i eventually got it, im having hte most fun with the drifting, its really tricky to get it right. I found that the skyline is the best drifter, and using the handbrake helps to get the car sliding quickly, before you hit a wall waiting for the rear to slide out when putting power to the wheels.

Re:Need for speed underground
YeAh..im sorry but Grand Turismo has every racing game beat
hands down you can adjust some many different things. the options are almost limitless. The only people i hear that don't like it are the ones that like games like Underground and other related. they don't like the options because they don't know what they mean. and they usually use an AUTO when racing too because they can't focus on the road and having to shift the gears while racing It's an OK game when you wanna let go from reality and hit the NOSSSSSSSS button...but that's about it. Putting the body kits on is kinda coo. Be better if you could actually enter the car into shows but i guess it would be underground i think the best gaming mode on there that GT doesn't have( but probably will now) is the DRIFTING COMPETITION. NOW that SHyAT iS FUNN :o ;D |
Re:Need for speed underground
my friend pointed out that NFSU is one of the first games that you can watch somebody play and still be extremely excited about what is going on. i love the drag racing, my best time on that so far is 22.43, what did everyone else get?

Re:Need for speed underground
I haven't played the NFS games yet but I do have the GT3. I wish they let you turbo and increase bore on anything, but I guess its room for improvement.
For all the really tech junkies, go get IHRA drag racing for PS2. This game lets you create your own motors. I'm talking bore, stroke, valve size, #of cylinders, everything. Choose from like every turbocharger ever made and make custom a/r's. Compression ratio's, timing, all that ----. There's no honda's, but just imagine a new camaro tuned by Stealthmode to have the biggest and baddest of every engine component and he pulls up to the line, and all you hear is detonation. It's fucken great. Clack Clack Clack Clack BOOOOOOOOMMMM! |
Re:Need for speed underground
can i get a crappy V6 camaro? like every one that i see here in dallas? can i add a dual exhaust so an idiot would think that it's a V8 model?
im just ------ with ya. i do think it's funny that you can get a 1g neon in NFSu, it's also cool that whatever level you are at most of the cars are equaly competitive |
Re:Need for speed underground
The games kinda booty but hey we the ones that bought em, and they the ones strollin' in their Lambos and Ferraris.
For all ya confused fellerz, "they" is referring to the makers. |

Re:Need for speed underground
you can play gta2 on the internet....we should have a GTA2 HMT style multiplayer challenge...that would kick ass...we just need a server ;)
Thats my idea for the week... |
Re:Need for speed underground
Has anyone heard anything about street race sindicate (I think that's what it's called)? I saw it as a preview on a web site a while ago, xbox.ign.com I think, and it said you could customize parts kind of like NFSU. Just thought I'd see if anyone else had heard of it! ;D

So far, 20.54 seconds. Supposedly its a mile race. So i wonder what the .25 mile comes out to. |
Re:Need for speed underground
i was using the skyline, what are you using?
|
Re:Need for speed underground
To straighten everything out,
GT4 is going to be on the PS2 console and is scheduled for release in april (we'll see) and street racing syndicate got held back because of the release of NFSU but will be out before GT4 and is supposed to rock NFSU's socks |
Re:Need for speed underground
I played yesterday for nearly the entire afternoon.
I Build up stage3 turbo sleepers and play online. The best is the civic 100% stock appearance running 22.9sec ONLINE is Great i just love that mode. You can meet me sometimes on the polish channels :) |
