Okay so this guy was selling an EX tranny for $200, He was looking for a Si cable tranny and i had one. So basically we decied the Si tranny was worth $150, and that i would pay for the EX tranny with the Si and $50 cash. Come to find out the tranny i bought off him was bad and i wanted my money back(He said he didnt know it was bad and apoligized for it). He tells me i can have the Si cable tranny back and i told him i dont want the tranny thats why i sold it too him.

I am told by him that he doesnt have the money right now, no problem, time goes by I ask him whats up with my money and he tells me when he gets his tax return back in Late february he will pay me back. I ask him again for the money again and i get paypal'd $50. Is this a fair return? to me i think not. I know feel like i am out some money. To me he bascailly got an cable Si tranny for $50.

This guy is a reputable person too and i am not the type to start a online arguement and ---- like that. So basically i am asking for your guys' civil opinion on this. Sorry if this seems like a rant, I just cant seem to figure out what is the fair thing to do. Thanks

LOL, i dont want to resolve it like that. everyone makes mistakes, i just dont see how $50 is right

 

not his fault cause he told u he didnt have cash and told u to take your tranny back.. you should have taken it back and called it a day

i agree, if a deal goes bad u cancel the whole deal. shuda takin the tranny back, or mad a new deal. if not take the tranny back

 

Actually everything worked out he said he forgot to add that he was gonna send me the remaining money next week. He said he could only afford to send 50 bucks. so all is good now, thanks for your guys' input!
