Re: Need input on insurance.
You should only report it if you want them to cover the damages should it get stolen or wrecked.
I get off easy on my insurance because I list that the car is in Morris, MN most of the year. It is, but there is no traffic or theives here, so it drops my rates way down. Speeding tickets still ---- me hard, but what can ya do.

I'm going to have to pay 292 a month once I start driving agian. Is there any different between a 92 hatch and a 88 hatch insurance wise? Cuz my dad mixed it up somehow, and I don't know if I should tell them or not. Which is higher to insure, 88 civic hatch, or 92 civic hatch?

cheap way to save a few bucks....
insure a second car on lay-up. comprehensive only insurance. it can be any car, just take the vin from your moms minivan, girlfriends or gay lovers jetta, redneck friends mid bogger truck...whatever.
doing this saves me like $7 a month on my insurance, i currently have the crx on layup as it sits.
a bucks a buck.

have 10k in a savings account or something of that nature, show the DMV, that'll show them that you can 'afford' an accident. I dunno I forgot the exact requirements and conditions, but I was looking into it like 5 years ago.
