need help on starion intercooler

Default need help on starion intercooler

Can you use mig welding on the starion intecooler or only tig weding?

I would say Tig would be the way to go. But I belive you can get special wire for Mig's that will allow you to weld aluminum. But the starion intercooler is pretty thin, so I dont know.

Yes you can use MIG... Some of the Lincoln Electric welders come ready to weld aluminum, and some have an "upgrade package" which I think is a spool of aluminum friendly wire, and a nozzle....
