need a bad blown or abused d16 d15 block to test new idea
Have been talking with the machinist about the cylinder walking problem on hondas. between the 2 of us i think we might have the problem licked. We came up with a way we thick to pin the top of the bore to the cylinder head. therby making the cylinders more stable. it looks to create far less stree then posting and with the proported cooling problems with blockguards this looks like it could be the hot ticket. we might even try resleeving a block with a reciver grove in the head and do away with the head gasket sealing the combustion chamber. either way if somebody has a blown up or heavily abused worthless block. you could get a very hefty discount on whatever fix we come up with.

If not I might have something. Do you need just the block? No pistons or rods or crank?

I think he's talking about the design of the VW head since Sean was talking about copying that design.
