Did a bit more driving today...everything looks good. Going to throw a bit more oil in it though, tommorow. I cant ------- drive the thing in 3rd gear at WOT. One hand is not enough to hold the steerign wheel while shifting with the other. At least for a bitch like me. Torque steer = ownage. Chris, should I take it easy until saturday, or is it ok to do a few pulls now and then? This is so much fun .

BTW, first night I got home, turned the car off. In the morning it smoked a bit out both exhaust pipes, and I was wonderign about the turbo...but it did not smoke any more after school, or when I drove or anything. So I guess it was somethign or other burning off. I did have WD40 inside the turbo... :1

Is it possible to replace them with the engine in the car? I see this as a distinct possiblity.

Yes it's possible to replace the rings/pistons with the engine in the car. You will have to take off the cylinder head plus, if the rings break and damage the cylinder(s) wall, you might have to take out the engine to get it rebored based on how bad the damage is.

So, take my advice and lay the ---- off the boost and nurse the car until you get it tuned.
