Default NDRA @ Norwalk Raceway Park (75+pics)

The NDRA finals were at Norwalk Raceway Park this past weekend. The weather was pretty chilly but the racing was hot!! Some seriously fast times were being laid down and I believe a few records were set. Anyway, here are some pics that I took. I did not feel like weeding out the ---- that some of you don't like so suck a dick and enjoy the other pics :P

Yea, there were actually some other carts that were pretty damn nice, but they were constantly on the go. And yes, there was some rice there, but there were also some well put together cars. I really hate carrying a camera around, so in two days, I only had it with me for a couple of hours, so I did not get pics of everything.

how much was the entrance fee?

I was thinking of going, but decided to just hang out with people around norwalk later that evening. Slowmotion motorsports had a pretty good, I believe they brought out a 700whp civic.

I can always tell when there is a 'sport compact' event because every ricer tries to race me and revs the **** out of their cars when I am driving around.

Man, the price was rediculous. It was $65 to get in and race for 2 days or $65 for show with a passenger for 2 days, $40 for a 2 day spectator pass or $25 for a single day of spectating.

Yea, I think the Slowmotion car ran just over a 10 sec pass, but I am not 100% sure about that. We have a guy around us that had his DelSol tuned out there, I think he was around 500hp, but it got t-boned the day after the last Norwalk event. I guess he is looking for a CRX to put his built GSR into now.

Yea, the cops were out, it's typical, these kids get all fired up and act like idiots.

One of the guys that went down with us ran a 13.78... He has a full interior with amps/subs/tv's/full size 18" spare, etc... and he had heavy 18's on the car. He could not launch at all due to wheelspin. I think if he had some drag radials and pulled all of his show stuff out, he could have been in the 12's He's running a t3 (not sure of the specs) on a JDM B18 with dsm 450's and is using an Uber tune he pulled off the web, lol. The car still runs kinda rich and I think if he put some tuning time into it, it would be pretty damn fast. It was a fun weekend overall with the exception that I got sunburned on saturday and windburned on sunday, lol.

Honestly not sure. Maybe it is some kind of crazy catch can set-up considering the size of the turbo,l who knows.

This guy had an EGT gauge on each cylinder. There were a ton of gauges inside the car.
