basically the theory is to prevent pulsations form the injectors opening and closing. the result in this some people say is some parts of your fiel system exploding. i could see this happening if you run a solid line fuel system, but i have also come to notice that it doesnt happen to cars with non solid fuel lines. my rx7 doesnt have solid fuel lines and the rubber lines absorbe the pulsations. when things explode its likely a cause of water hammer.

nothing really, just a compression test... on a rotary a compression test will tell you everything

yah, beat the snot out of it. those 1st gens are really good. put a p port in it and expect huge gains. somewhere between 250 to 300+ with other mods. but it would be a race engine if you p port it.
