Name that motor
 

What ------- motor is this? I'm almost 100% positive it's a ZC, but I can't get a straigth ------- answer out of this bitch. ::) I have looked at all kinds of 2.0 Prelude motors and it just doesn't match right. The oil cap is in a different location and there are extra sensors on the head that are blocked off. :-\

This is an ACTUAL 2.0 Prelude motor:

I tried to tell the bitch how to confirm what motor it is, but she is too god dman stupid. >:(

I might buy it anyways just because. I just don't know if I want to deal with it if it has the B20A5 or whatever teh ---- it is. :-\

easy way to tell is looking at the lip underneith the headlights.. Hatch's and Sedans on EF's have them, CRX's dont

It's funny how that auction they really talk about the "smog inspection in cali" yes, it wont pass visual because its a damn jdm engine. If it was the prelude engine it would have no problem passing.

I think you should leave it with the screwdriver, it'll be a nice conversation piece if you ever get pulled over and you have to explain why there is a screwdriver jammed in the steering column. ---- I might go to home depot tomorrow and see if they can make a key out of a flathead screwdriver. How do you figure? When the ---- did they put that motor in a Prelude? They say it is a 1990 2.0 Prelude motor, which is a B20A5 or some stupid ---- like that.

I'm going to smack this bitch in the head if I get there and it's some fucked up gay ass retarded swap. >:(

dude that looks exactly like a black top DOHC ZC. look at the intake manifold.. how it has the hump in the back. look how there is no cam cover (plastic). look how it has the cam angle sensor, look how it has the H and logo on the exhaust side.

its a DOHC ZC.

It does look like the dohc zc engine, but they have the honda emblem in the middle, don't now if it could be a different valve cover but that's kinda weird.

She is seriously retarded and super lazy. She won't help out with a god damned thing. ::) I tried to tell her to read me the engine code and decribed to her where it is and what it looks like and what possible numbers it might be, but I guess that was too hard for her. >:(

there is no way that is a Prelude motor i have a 89 2.0 s beater that i drive to school in and the motor shown in that hb isnt anywhere close to looking like the B20A3 which is in the 2.0S. that engine is kinda small compaired to a lude motor.

How do you figure I could have saved a couple hundred? My final bid was 3 seconds before the auction ended and the one before that was before I went to work this morning. I came home on my lunch break to check ---- out. Even if I hadn't bid it still would have been $1600 because of the other jackasses. Oh well, there is no way I would have found a deal like that around here. Remember, I don't live in a gigantic city where the junkyard is full of Hondas. :P
