The MYT engine.

The MYT engine.
Built by Angel Labs, I've been following it for a while. They finally have a running model.
Boring as hell but descriptive: http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...arch&plindex=1
What it is:

Running:

Seems promising, hopefully.

Quasi turbine is a bit different, I saw that when that canuck company started selling it.

That one still uses rotors, the MYT has some funny kind of paddles or what-not, they kind of move back and forth relative to the pressure of the gas in the adjacent cyl.

How do you supposed they'll correct the issue with creating a great enough seal to get compression, lubricate and provide air to that engine? I think the greatest problem that engine runs into is being able to seal it's self to where it can create compresson.

Advances in material science in the future will definitely help. The piston-engine has been around for over 100 years and has constantly been improved upon which is why it's so great today. Just give this engine some time. Maybe a lot of time.
