Well I also have some things that where in the car when I bought it. A rampod unifilter short ram intake, it's from australia mate, HKS turbo timer, and Turbo XS BOV. My best time on the car was 14.6@90mph before the exhaust work, I hope I can get it down to low 14's maybe break the 13's that would be sweet.

14.6@90 if you were trying to save the clutch fine, if you were really trying then you need to learn how to launch correctly. What was your 60'?

I ran a 12.9@104 in the STi 1.81 60'. Ran a 14.2@95 1.95s 60'in a friend's bone stock WRX. Ran a 14.1 in my GTX but the 60' light wasn't working.

Yes this tranny's break, the only weak point on the car. I have read too many horror stories on WRX breaking the transmissions and Subaru of America not honoring the warranties because the car was "abused" when some of the cases are not because of racing abuse. So yes I was saving my transmission more than the clutch. I'm also in Florida and is hot here sometimes, I think ???, oh and I have a big speaker box and I'm a big guy, so that can also affect times ;) ;). Yes, I've seen faster stock WRX, but then again all cars are different.

I'll see what it runs friday 8) 8) 8).

EDIT: I forgot, the 14.6 was @92mph and the 60' time was 2.10, launching at around 4800-5000 rpm and NOT dropping the clutch, just letting it out easy.

It is understandable that you want to save your transmission. My friend bought a new wrx about a year ago and took it to the track and the trans took a ---- on the launch, so he skipped first gear and just went into second and still ran I believe it was a low 15ish. But subaru did replace his trans for him since it was under warranty.

A friend of mine has one, and the transmission broke twice. The First time Subaru fixed it, the second time he had to pay $3,000 for a new one. This guy doesn't even let the car spool completely to the stock setting, he really babies the car and it happened to him, So i'm being careful.
