I think it may be a Crome thing, I know it doesn't do it with some of the other Juarez, or if you have an ignition cut via MSD, etc.

That was the answer I was looking for.
I was just verifying what I heard about using the stock rev limiter.
I bought a ignition with a rev limiter to solve that problem.

Thanks for making me feel like I didn't waste 100 bucks.

I think every free ware tuning program for honda is fuel cut.
CFT recommended that I go with a external limiter utilizing ignition cut instead of fuel cut.
It was suggested to just raise the rev limiter in crome to a very high rpm and use a ignition box to control rev limit.
A couple of the members on here disagree with this idea saying they have never heard of one problem with using a raised stock rev limit.
My understanding is that only programs like hondata, ectune, aem ect. Have ignition cut rather then fuel cut Or its a option.

Yup. eCtune does a fuel + ignition revlimit, which is cool because it sounds like a shotgun or throws fireballs on some cars.

CFT, you're in central Florida? Let me hook you up with my boy Tom in St Lucie, he's 94Sewell on the eCtune forum.
