Yes, in my vids from the track I raced a auto Camaro that produces the same thing from everyone who watches it, "Dude, you got smoked." His 13.5 to my 14.4. Automatic. LOL. :-X

cause it is not going to happen. if you use slicks and launch at 4k thats not stock.

Would you call bullshit to a 12.9 from a bone stock SN95 Cobra, on street tires?

Same difference, that happens too.

yahoogroups.com/jyturbo

Search for it, the discussion is in the 1-2 year old category. I recall a link to a message forum, I think there was a vid.

They're probably right; I calculate a 697lb weight difference. 2939lbs curb weight 03 SRT4 (www.edmunds.com) subtract a 96 DX HB 2242lbs curb weight (http://www.hondaswap.com/forums/inde...howtopic=29355) and you get 697lbs difference.

Now we have a 225whp SRT4 (first year, might I add, so no LSD) versus a 163whp civic hatch. So 2939l/225=~13lbs/hp, and 2242/163=13.75lbs/hp

But the SRT4 had an extra ~160lbs maybe more (camera man), so that would drop the SRT's pwr to weight ratio down to 13.77lbs/hp; so in all actuallity this is very plausable.

Actually the DX hatchback is 2222 pounds, so it would actually be 13.63lbs/hp and the srt4 would be 13.06 ;)

Correction, the SRT4 is 2003 was 215 whp, the 2004 was 225... so

Honda Civic DX - 163 whp - 2222/163 - 13.63 lbs/hp
Dodge Neon SRT4 - 215 whp - 2939/215 - 13.67 lbs/hp

Actually to correct you. The 03's were rated a 215 but produced more hp to the tune of 230 to the ground and the 04's were rated at 230hp not 225hp. and the 03's were the lightest year model at 2856lbs. We took my cousins to a Cats truck scale and weighed it it was 2900lbs even with no one in it and 3080 with just my cousin and 3274 with him and me in the car.

The pointis the ratios would be

Dx 2222/163=13.63
Srt 2900/230=12.77
