Now we have a 225whp SRT4 (first year, might I add, so no LSD) versus a 163whp civic hatch. So 2939l/225=~13lbs/hp, and 2242/163=13.75lbs/hp But the SRT4 had an extra ~160lbs maybe more (camera man), so that would drop the SRT's pwr to weight ratio down to 13.77lbs/hp; so in all actuallity this is very plausable. |
Re: My Turbo DX vs SRT4
i would really love to see someone make a mid 13 second pass with a stock LX 5.0 foxbody
cause it is not going to happen. if you use slicks and launch at 4k thats not stock. |

Cool link. I was curious what my car weighed. Thanks!!! :y ;) ;D Remember this..."What's that thing weight? 3400lbs and my Civic weighs 2400lbs and uhh.....well....uhhhPower to weigh ratio says your F'd." LOL That's funny because we are now doing it. Let's not forget gear ratios and traction lose or whatever. Soooooo many little variables. I think he made more than 163whp too though. :-\ Thanks for the info JD. Now I have a better chance on a roll on ONLY RWD cars or what and why? Very informative thread. :y JP |
Re: My Turbo DX vs SRT4
If you use Edmunds correctly they're more accurate than most other sites as far as hp, weight, etc ;)
