Yeah that lift kit is pretty pointless. I guess it's all for looks. I know it ain't got the power to put those tires to work. I know a few people with trucks lifted way up that have recently gotten tickets in them. I mean ----, I have friends that build badass trucks but they trailor them to competitions. Not drive them on the street. Dollar says my 86' Trooper II on 33's and 3" lift will go anywhere that chevy will.
And yeah if the cop just wrote you a ticket, and didn't measure the bumpers or take pics, you could drop the truck some to get it legal and fight it in court. put the stock wheel/tires on it and see what your ride height is then. |
