my time is almost up
 

The 26th of this month is when I'm supposed to leave for air force boot camp. I'm really hell bent on not going now, I love san diego way too much. there are no bases close to here. I told my parents and everything, but ofcourse they want me to leave, but they tell me it's my decision and I need to have a plan if I decide not to go. Yeah, give me some input guys. Thanks

yeah, I just started this new jub this week, it's easy, I like it and it pays pretty well. military pay is shitty but you get good benefits. I don't know what the hell to do

Join the marines, they are right in San Diego.

But if you don't wanna go, then don't. IMO it seems like a bitch thing to do not wanting to go cuz you like your home town, even after signing the papers.

Dude, if I wouldn't of have forced them to kick me out, I would of been out in TWO DAYS.
They told me I would never be able to have what they were giving me. Today I have a new house, a family, I'm starting a new painting business, I'm still selling oil lines, and I'm talking ---- at 1am on HMT!!!!!
And to think in two days I would have been out right back where I started from 4 years ago, except I'd have half of all those benefits they tell you about.

The thing, is I let my parents and my girl pressure me into signing that ----. my girl dragged me down to the recruitor's office. My hearts not into it, but I didn't go to college right after highschool. I've just been working for the past 2 years. I just thought the military would buy me some time to think about what I really want to do. But I don't want to be miserable out in the middle of utah or some ----.

Dude, the dumbest thing you could ever do is go. From the way your talking I will tell you you are a complete moron if you do.
If you do go, the first night you get to your squadron in the middle of the night and your standing there in formation for an hour waiting for your TI to show up and its silent because everone is afraid to talk, right when you think your gonna pass out because you've been standing with your knees locked for so long,,,,, think about what Stealthmode said, and say your prayers. ;)

When you get to the chow hall in the morning you better hope it's french toast day, cause you have 3 minutes (exactly) from the time you sit down to the time you're getting your ass up and out to finish what you started, and drink all three glasses of the "secret" gatorade. (mandatory)
And when you wonder how you went the whole month and a half of boot camp without getting a hard on, don't think about the secret gatorade, think about stealthmode, slut. >:(

I didn't read the whole post but my brother just left for boot camp for the army and it will be good for you. I personally would never go but if you signed up for it already then you must have thought something good of it at one point....plus you can do pretty much whatever you want when you get out ;D

When your marching with a psycho nutbag of a SGT barking in your ear and he gives the command to turn right, but your so scared that your either gonna ---- your pants or turn left, and you turn left. The SGT will say, "IS THAT YOUR RIGHT? TRY YOUR MILITARY RIGHT, YOU MENTAL GIANT", it will sound funny, but don't laugh. You do and the next thing you know you'll hear "HIT YOUR FACE". Yep, you just got pushups. Wait, no you didn't. You don't have to do any pushups, your just gonna hold yourself up in the pushup position while he tells you what a dumb ---- you are for 10 mins. Don't worry though, while your struggling to hold yourself off the ground you won't even hear a word he says, because you'll be too busy thinking about what stealthmode told you.

You know, maybe you should go. Dorm inspections are so much fun. It'll take you two hours to make your bed to the point where you don't think you'll get your ass chewed out. Then instead of sleeping in the bed and messing it up, you'll sleep on the floor next to your bed hoping to not have to make the bed again before the morning. Sleep on the cold floor for a couple hours, then wake up to get your bed torn to ---- by a SGT telling you you're the most worthless bed maker he's ever seen in his life. But how can this happen, you slept on the cold floor? It happened because stealthmode said it would. :(

point is. I've known a couple people who've joined the armed forces. they were all psyched and excited and couldnt wait to get started.

Yeah stealth you seem a little bit biased ive had alot of friends recently finish tech shool and boot camp and all of them said they enjoyed it my dad also said he enjoyed his boot camp. :-\ I dont know different strokes for different folks i guess. You could deffinetly do alot worse with your life than join the millitary. I personally think breaker is being a ----- the airforce is easy stuff compared to the marines. What do you have to lose by joining? A shitty job that wont support you for the rest of your life, living with your parents? Trust me theres alot more to gain than lose for most people.

I say go, you obviously don't have a lot of direction in your life, and I know more than 1 guy that was fucked up with absolutely nothing going in his life, joined the service and now has discipline and goals.

Plus, if you have the balls and skill to be a pilot, no turbo civic will ever seem fast again.

You're call, you can either strive for a life out of Fast and Furious, or one we'll never know about.
