Most Rangers weigh AT MOST 3000 lbs. 2.3T with a different turbo and bigger injectors is good for 400 whp. Admittedly, the Ranger is a fucked up rear suspension design, but a little work or just a set of Jim Duff traction bars and some finesse and he should do better than 11.5's.
Just an opinion
It could be a stock turbo - still good for 300 or a smidge more. Given the Starlet pictures, I doubt that.

He didnt get banned. they wrote him out of the rules cause it was import sponsored and he had a ford engine in it thats it he still goes to the track all the time and still turns heads. OH yeah i forgot to mention the 2.3 turbo mustang he let us build in class thats running low 7 and as soon and he can its going into the 6's................Hey anyone seen Steven we called him and ride out. Maybe someone scared to run the 2.3 liters of ford thunder. i guess we will just have to wait and see i'm puttin my money on the Ranger. come line em up your gonna get a 10 spot on it.
