D16Y8(stock) ported z6 intake mani W/ 70mm TB(thanks chris ;D )
Ps9(one wire vtec)
Basemaped by me using TURBOEDIT

Garrett AirResearch 42/48
Jackie chan BOV, wastegate, manifold(braced and welded to ----), intercooler

Better to have a 2" charge pipe dumping into a 70mm tb then a 70mm charge pipe to a 2" tb I guess.

Ya you really should atleast get a 2.5 pipe and run a 2.5 to 3 inch coupler aka what all the ebay intakes get. Looks good though love the ex hub cabs. Thats what I rolled my dx 90 civic on for years. Spacer plate=dope. Keep it up.

I had to stop using my EX hub caps. They were falling apart and the plastic below is some off yellow ----.

That downpipe looks like hell, but if it holds air then you're golden.

Didnt you have a skunk2 intake manifold/throttle before I sold you the z6/spacer/70mm throttle body? Just wondering if you noticed any difference besides the fact that all skunk2 throttle bodies stick LOL

HELL YEAH i noticed the difference chris, your TB's are the ---- man and the port job looks sweet, i noticed the real difference when i was NA for like a week or 2(feels even better with 10 PSI >:D ) . Your ported mani, TB, and spacer package completely destroys the old skank 2 set up . i would recommend everyone to buy one.

To bad skunk2 has marketed themselves to the point that everyone swears they are gods. The spacer seems to be the answer for the d16z6 manifold. I have made good power for years without the plenum spacer but with it :y.Your one of a couple guys with similar feedback I have gotten glad it worked out for ya.

Yeah man most of their ---- sucks even their suspension isnt that great , sad to see fine work and products like yours get over looked by high priced garbage with a fancy names :3

They're designed to have the turbo facing the other way, which tucks it closer to the block putting less force on the welds. Either way they still suck balls.

Ya they do a great job of making people think they are the best stuff out there. I mean they got famous by copying a type r manifold and throwing there name on it. The d series is just a b16a plenum on d series runners. The chance they did any r&d on that part=0 hence why it doesnt work.


The z6 manifold has shown again and again with skilled port work and a properly sized throttle body to own all the aftermarket stuff out there. The spacer which gives some extra plenum volume and velocity just adds to the cause.


Well back on topic ching chang bong turbo manifold is tiiite. How long did you spend on that dp?

not very long the bends were like an OH ---- i dont have any clearence type of idea because with those mani's the turbo is supposed to face the other way but i didnt want that , i mean i could have welded it better but it was getting late and my skill was starting to diminish. but it doesnt leak and has got HMT writtten all over it lol :6

my bad for anyone who doesnt know "Towdogg" is a buddy of mine who helped me out on all of this(thanks mang)and got me into boost , he creates most of the bends and angles for me(pretty much pulls them out of his ass lol). , for lack of better words my right hand man :6

I had some clearance issues with my wg dump and torching the pipe/hitting with a ball peen hammer can get you a nice 1/2 inch of clearance that wont mess up flow too badly. Just get it glowin hot
