I love MKII with the round headlights!! Did your come stock, or aftermarket grill and lights. Normally if it's stock they have dual rounds and yours are only single.

a 91 GTI like mine came with the "quad" round grille (as many things as the car was missing i still have the original grille)...the square lights are gay... for the center lights they will have yellow lenses and the main headlights will have yellow bulbs.
oh and the center lights are mounted in the grille not to the core support, thats why you dont see them... but i do have 4 good center lights somewhere....

one of my Honda friends was like: eww a VW? then he seen it and quickly changed his mind. said he would own one if it was like mine...

The VW is looking nice. I wanted to do a turbo MKII also. I first need to get my Integra done.

Definitely keep us updated often. I want to see how this project comes out, and some videos too please ;D

Ya, I have a friend with a MKII with the converted single Rally Round lights. I have been bugging him to let me turbo it!!

Looks sick as ----. I'm going to be picking up an 87 jetta gl(?), auto :( from my god father who is moving back to the Philippines to retire. 77k original. Mint as they come. Should make it a project car... or use it to daily drive.

Daily driver. ;) Why mess up the vintage quality. Your god father worked hard to keep it in mint shape. I say you keep it that way.

If by work hard you mean... live in the city and never need his car... thus it sat in a garage for 9 years... then I guess you're right. Its not as nice as turbohf's Gti thats for sure, but its still nice for its age, not quite mint.

Anyway, the gti looks great... for some reason I can't help but love those older VW's.

ive made a few ramhorns too, sold a few etc..., urs looks good man, my friend is gona turbo is jetta 1.8 8v, he wanted to know if u had any tips for him. -blake
