You should've got a set of pistons and rods and turboed your KA. Even with a stock SR setup (t25 and sidemount), the KAs make more power. Anyways, good luck on your project and great car!

i have learned, dont get into SR swaps and 240s unless you have some cash to throw out

for 6 grand you could have a 240 that a B16 CRX couldnt even dream about hanging with :S

Exactly my thoughts....My sr swap cost less than 90% of peoples b16 swaps cost.....I was about to put in the motor today but found a bunch of metal shavings in the oil pan....The motor came with a siezed turbo so im hoping thats what they are from, but regardless I'll make the importer send me a spare block. Ill upload some new pics in a few mn.

On the topic of wheel-hop. Subframe spacers and nismo mounts help.

For 3 grand I can build an LS CRX a 6 grand 240 couldn't dream about hanging with.

Straight line only, of course ;D

Actually, if I was a balla I'd say GSR, but the cold hard truth is LS's ARE FREE if you hang around long enough. Nothing helps with a build so much as perfectly good ---- for free.

I can agree, an ls turbo crx can be a fast car....thats the last car i owned and it dominated upon everyone i raced. but i will be road racing this car and for me it was just time for a change. I have allways owned hondas and just wanted to give it a shot with another car, hopefully it works out. I don't expect the fastest 1/4 mile car in the world, but it wont be slow by any means. The turbo on it is tiny, ill be upgrading to a very large t3 at minimum.
