I think you're gonna need some flanges in there with a donut gasket and spring bolt kit before you break something. Should work good, but what's with the green pipe ???

i've got a piece of flex pipe in the mail that's going in when it gets here. the green mandrels were a freebie from a buddy of mine that was a mechanic in the military, free 3" mandrels, i don't care if they were pink ;)

yeah, i actually have a 3" muffler on the way. this is just kind of temporary until about next week, then i'm gonna have the flex pipe put in and have the exhaust finished up exiting at stock location with this muffler

what do you mean? 3" pipe is 3" pipe. any prefabbed full 3" exhaust would have cost over 300 bucks, that's not including down pipe. this whole set up (including custom dump tube and down pipe), cost me less than 200 ;) i'm gonna be wrapping the down pipe since it's so close to the radiator anyways, and that's all that's visible unless you're under the car.

::) you're an idiot, the price of a b18c1 is not 1800 dollars, maybe for longblock plus tranny, which is not much more than a b16. the price of a b18 bottom end is maybe 100 bucks more than a b16 bottom end. btw, i ran 12's last night on a basemap :-*

Kevin, you are out of your mind. To get your hands on a GSR motor that is even remotely decent in CT you have to remortgage your house! Long block and tranny will run you about $2500 if not more. Its actually very sad. Thats why us poor guys have to boost D motors. :-\

i've got a video of my very first run, i only ran a 13.1 and my wife didn't do too great of a job recording. she left early and i left the camera in her truck (as well as my lap top, so i couldn't do any tuning :P ), so i didn't get my 12.9 run on tape. low boost, untuned, first time ever on slicks, etc. mid to low 12's coming very soon ;) anyways, i'll post the vid up later.
