Re: My new detailing business....(Pics)
Good stuff. My sisters fiance had a VERY similar business to yours in Chicago. He was all over the rich suburbs and the goldcoast (where the rich people live in Chicago). He made a lot of money detailing Porches, Ferraris and the like. He ended up not going to the next level but reinvesting his earnings into real estate.
Keep up the good work and don't compromise your standards... but I'm sure you knew that already.

wow, looks awesome.
I'm starting to get into detailing. So far, i have only done my car and my dads camry. I havent done nearly as much as you, but i hope i get there one day. I'm really thinking of ------ing the word, and get started doing a few details here and there for random people, then word can get out.
I'm just not too confident on the whole interior thing. I dont know what is good and what isnt. I do mostly exterior work(wash/clay, paint cleaner, polish and wax). I do everything by hand tho i dont have the money to buy expensive equipment yet.
good look on your future advertising man.
p.s. you SHOULD write a book on how to detail. i sure would buy one.
p.s.s, where do you get your products?

Back in febuary my parents had purchased an 04 f250 that was used for an agriculture buisness in arizona and prolly didnt get washed the entire time up until it was brought to a dealer here in washington. I prolly spent anywhere from 8-10 hours using meguairs buffing compound with a microfiber cloth a then jumping straight into a carnuba wax with again a microfiber cloth. Dont have before pics but just to give an idea there was layer upon layer of caked in mineral and dirt spots. Here are the afters sorry about the size before hand

I do not filter my water but I'm looking into a de-ionizing filter for stopping water spots. Takes the mineral out that causes them.

For making your life easier, I would get this kit.....
http://www.autogeek.net/poca74pofcop.html
All you would need then is a bottle of Meguiar's NXT from Wal-Mart to have an awesome detailing kit! The PC is very easy to use.
By the way, I get ALL of my stuff from www.autogeek.com. They are the best and I have codes that can get you some damn hot deals.
I've had 100's of requests for me to make a detailing guide book with real world secrets and tips.
How much would one pay for it?
5.00?
Thanks guys!

The paint has no defects and their is tons of depth. I do several of those and they are HUGE!
Good work!
I use photobucket.com for my pics. It resizes them nicely and easily for forums. I can also keep them in albums.
Here is my album....
