I have the same engine/trans and ---- as an Impala and I've got 170,000 miles and both the engine and trans are holding up fine.

i dont plan on keeping this car for more then about 3 years or 50k miles and im sure it wont have to have any major work done because i do all my services myself on time... and only known problem that i see on older chevy cars is headgaskets blowing
