My integra, DAY pictures, taken today

well today i was doing a tune up on my car (plugs, wires, fuel system test, all filters, oil, etc.) and then decided to take some NICER pictures.

enjoy.

Shaved emblems.....all smmmmoooooooth..(j/k it needs buffing)

heart and soul of ther project....sniff, sniff...soon to be ripped out and replaced for a 1.8L block bored out to 1.9 (waiting on DAME STR parts)

MSD coil, the stock coil took a shyt on me, and MSD coil is CHEAPER than the stock honda coil.

Skunk2 intake manifold, had this since the all motor days, X-mas gift from my girlfriend

http://www.newbieforces.com/files/newturbopic4.jpg
this is what .60 comp. A/R look like........if you think that is big, wish you could see the exh side .63 A/R. Great turbo, lots of highway power, all the way to redline
(never reached the lost efficiency point, YET  )

http://www.newbieforces.com/files/newturbopic5.jpg
I told you it was HUGE, and there is STILL more up under that ALREADY cut bumper. Sometime after driving me car hard, i would step out and touch both sides of the intercooler, night and day, one side would be hot, and the other cool, IT'S WORKING!!!! :P .

Polished downpipe, one bold missing. NO it did not fell out, the hole just did not line up. so i have to drill/widen up flange hole, Plus it does not leek, so i'll wait till i rip motor out to fix it.

http://www.newbieforces.com/files/newturbopic7.jpg
Monitoring the engine's activity...., i had a two gauge pod, with two other gauges, BUT that is removed, to be relocated (see below).

http://www.newbieforces.com/files/newturbopic8.jpg
this is where i ripped out the intergrated cell phone, and i am putting in three gauges there, (the VAFC is just there for the time being), below you can see my UBERDATA modified ECU, i luving it.

well that is my car on a whole....update and all.

later and thanks

Looks good, I like where you have the 2 guages mounted in the dash. Is that a CF hood I see? I definately like it, looks clean :)

That downpipe looks sexy. Where did you get that flange? I had the same problem with that bolt not lining up. I thought it was my gay ass turbo. That really pissed me off. >:(

naw, that hood is METAL fiber, with light weight BLACK OEM paint. (basically it's a stock oem hood, from a black teg)

-----------------------

that Downpipe came with the kit (from turbonetics), i tried 1,000 ways to make that bolt fit, and i just gave up.

:-\ sorry man,

i cant afford the sleeves.......i just want to hit safely 350-400hp with a nice bottom end pull

pacific said only a few shops know how to install darton sleeves properly and it would cost about 850 to install it.

Re:My integra, DAY pictures, taken today

so wait.... your boring out stock sleeves? to a 1.9 ltr? 82.5mm bore? stock sleeves? lol.. your gonna waste a gsr block..

chingro4u 07-11-2004 03:29 PM

Re:My integra, DAY pictures, taken today

well is either that, or i wait another few months.

to be honest, i dont know...i might just wait it out for the sleeves money to be saved up.

Re:My integra, DAY pictures, taken today

I always thought it was a big no-no to bore stock sleeves and add boost. :-\

Re:My integra, DAY pictures, taken today

i want my car to be a 2.L
so is that, or i get a B20Z block and bore that out.

BUT i already have the P72 block, so that is what i was aiming to work from.

TMonarky 07-12-2004 01:49 AM

Re:My integra, DAY pictures, taken today

Nice setup. If your planing on getting a B20 make sure you get it re-sleeved because it wont last long if you dont. If I was you I would keep the GSR block an sleeve it. Good luck with what you decide.

Re:My integra, DAY pictures, taken today

I had to get my stock sleeves bored out to about 81.5mm and it's holding up strong so far, sitting in my garage waiting for me to buy parts and put it together.

you really need to get off your car's jock, you put pictures up like every week. I would too if I had a good digital camera.

since the shaved moldings, and emblems.....and exhaust, i posted night pics, and BAD pic from the camera phone, and my friend and HMT member complain they can hardly see anything, and that i should take pics with a good camera.

So after 2 weeks of waiting on my roommate to get a day off, i finally got some good pics.

;D
thanks

Re:My integra, DAY pictures, taken today

dude.. you can't bore stock sleeves to 82mm and expect to boost ontop of that, save for sleeves, way better idea.. and then go 2.1ltr

me and two other friends got together and rented a whole house, we are all into cars and we needed a place to park our cars at night (saftly). Plus a house is much better than a lil apartment.
The area is really good to.
