Cool stuff though =) welcome to HMT

It is a air-water intercooler, which plays the part of entire IC piping setup.

No ----? I know what a Air-water IC is.. we used used one in our latest project I just think the piping could have been routed better. ::)

I tried to keep the intake piping as simple as possible. I would of made it a straight line if I could, bends cause restristion for nothing in myt opinion. The only way I see that I could have made it fit without covering the radiator cap was to put in at an angle and the brake master cylinder would of bin in the way.

As for the restriction, again space is the issue and the maf sensor. When I get a stand alone i will get rid of the sensor and maybe the reduction but in reality I can't fit a 4inch. pipe right there, as is it just barely clears the clutch bleeder.

As for IC, it's not that bad on street use cuz I got a big water reservoir (aluminium thing in the trunk). It takes a while before it gets hot and it cools down to a resonable temperature when not boosting. Of course when I go to race it, I will drain part of it out.

Here is a question I was asking miself, what kind of oil seals are used in a turbo?

reason why the IC can't fit anywhere is cuz it's so big and the engin bay so small.

I would have angled the IC down a bit more and used a sharper radius bend off the turbo, the radius on that bend you have now is huge. Or relocated the battery

why are you putting an intercooler in the engine bay???

looks good though.
