Default my hm mani

i'm not entirely happy with how it turned out. these things are a lot more difficult to make than they look. when i make my second one i'll be doing it a bit differently. i didn't really plan this one that well. details: cnc cut flanges by me, 1.5" 304ss 10guage elbows and straight pipe ss tig welded by me. it sure is nice to have access to the right tools. if i were to start making these, how much do you think i could get for them?

not bad at all. I'm sure you could get a good $300-500 for that thing.

Did you just fill the center section in this pic full of weld?

Very nice. The cost of stainless would own you in the future, but even in mild steel you could get $300

You couldn't probably get too much with the collector looking like it does. $300 is a good guess. the reason the expensive ones are expensive is because they are made well, with attention to detail. like the way the collector merges, and flows. good luck with them, it looks good, better then I could do, but I wouldn't buy one unless they were really cheap.

Unless it's the camera I can see some welds that need to be fixed.

no, i made a small ss 4 point star and had to fit it before i put the collector on. i just wanted to make sure it didn't leak, because if it does this is where it will i think.
bambooseven, yes i know the collector looks like poopoo, that is what i am most unhappy with. i think i went about making it the wrong way. it is pretty difficult to get into some of the tight spots with a tig.
thanks for the input guys. i think 300 would be a good starting price, but i have to make a couple more first and up the quality a bit. does anyone have dimensions for a t3 flange? they seem to be the most popular. it would be even better if someone had a dxf or a dwg or even an mc9 file of a sketch. that would save me some time. i imagine bmc has all this info for just about every flange you could think of. i would understand not wanting to share it though.
