the track was so tight you barely got to use any power on it my car felt over powered for it since i was mostly in short *** 1st and 2nd gear and it kinda sucked my friend had a stock da and was runnin it good. the miatas were running ---- with the awd drive cars...

That track looked horrible. Not a whole lot of action from the looks of your run. Not that your car isnt nice . Just the track didn't look too fun. Thank god that don't announce ---- like that at our events otherwise I think the next event would be nonexistant.

ya that track was kinda gay it was desighned by a bmw driver wasnt too much fun for my car. my setup is just groundcontrol coilovers on some shitty as stock shocks and old tokico blues in the back. i havent done much work in the handling department. otherthan that its got a turbo kit i pieced together with a black intercooler and drilled in dash boost controller.

That course looked tight, but that's just part of the sport. You never know ahead of time what the course is going to be like and part of the game is having the ability to make the most of every course. 43 seconds is a short *** course though. I like the 60 second courses much better.
On that tight of course I might have just left in first for the majoity of the run... sometimes it's faster to bounce off the rev limiter a few times and stay in first, rather than get caught at the bottom of second after coming around a corner. In a Honda that will kill your time because our low end sucks.
Did you have any instructors ride with you and give you tips along the way? I remember my first few events, I thought I was decent until I had someone ride with me and give me a few tips which greatly helped my times. It's a lot more difficult than most people think.
