whats a good brand and type of rice do you get? last time i tried to cook up some i must of got the wrong rice, because no matter what, it tasted like ---- and was not the right texture or rice. i got it from wal-mart chinese section haha. witch is wierd sense like everything there is made in china lol

its weird. The good rice, doesnt come from Asia. The ---- comes from Califorina. :1

Honestly, the rice I bought came in a 10 pound nylong bag with a bunch of blue JDM writing on it. Our JDM friend showed it to us. There is a trick to cooking rice though. Do you rinse your rice? ----, I never thought you had to. put it in a bowl, get about an inch and a half of water over it, swish it around a little bit, then hold your hand on the side of the bowl...tip it over and drain the water. The water that comes out is nasty as hell. all white and ----. Then fill the water back up (clean water), to just about 1/2 inch above the rice, throw that ---- in yoru rice cooker and set it. Bam. next up is good rice.

I should do a HMT write up on how to cook rice. lol.

ya one of you definitly do, and what rice at wal mart should i buy lol. i love chinese ------- food, and i need to get steamed rice down.
