My Dyno results
I was on the dyno this past Saturday during a Charleston, SC meet.
Well clearly the results blow ass. Dyno was on 5 psi on Precision SC-61 turbo. I'm running rich as hell because I was suppose to go back to finish tuning but that never happened. I am tuned via uberdata by JD Here you go: http://people.clemson.edu/~priyad/Dyno.JPG |

Yah I have no idea why it dips at Vtec.

either its running way rich at 4.6k , maybe the vtack is kicking in too early :P

You're running only 5 psi on a larger turbo, so you're way out off the chart for it to be efficient. Given that you're "rich as hell," I don't see why this graph is weird... other than the dip at 4.6k.

that turbo doesnt even think about being efficient untill 20+ psi for sure.

You gained about 30whp out of 5psi. :3
Tune it and up the boost about 5-10 PSI and you'll be golden. |

I am suppose to be running 10 psi, but I have been having some boost controller problems.
I dyno'd because I got it for free so I wanted to see what's going on. I got this turbo because I was planning on building the motor completely, but I ran out of money. |

do you have stock or aftermarket cams? that's basically what my graph looked like before i get em tuned, the vtec on my cams are meant for ~6K

that sucks. a gsr could make that much power with cams, intake, header and exhaust with some tuning

5psi, what do you expect? Put no less than 10psi through the slut, and itll be all better. :)
The dip is just the vtec coming on a smidge to early, no biggie. A MBC and a day with JD would be well worth it. |

yea you just need some fine tuning and more boost bro. I cant beleive I made more power than you on a snail half the size at 7 psi :l PLEASE fix your boost controller!

i'm curious though, i have seen plenty of people on ~6 psi and they got over 200whp and even close to 250whp.
So I was wondering, is it because of my tune and nothing else? or what's going on. |

all depends on how rich you were running..
were you misfiring? I dont know much about honda motors but was it knock retarding? like someone mentioned some turbos are not designed to run at 5 psi... change a couple little things and boom... you never know.. what exhaust are you running? |
