My current pre turbo setup (pics inside)
Now before you guys laugh at me for having a blow off valve on an NA car, I just wanna tell you that I'm putting the turbo on next week, To celebrate the sucess of my motor build and figuring out my problem with RPM and such, I decided to take these pics and post them up, enjoy.
Nice and clean engine bay with a freshly rebuild Z6 engine.
Oil feed consosts of a stainless 1/4" brake line going from the back of the block to the brass fittings, for now the only thing it goes to is my oil pressure guage and the sensor, the (to turbo) end is blocked off with another sensor for now.
This is the oil return, I plugged it up with some paper towel so ---- dont get in there, Als o I dont plan on using that hose, I have a proper oil line hose that I will put on when the turbo is bolted up.
------- right, dont you just hate it when people drive in front of you going real slow? well this is going to be a wakeup call for them.
The plans are to get a small compressed air bottle, like the type they use for paintball and hook it up to a activation switch which will be hooked up to my horn, the thing is loud enough as it is but I think that the electric pump is weak as hell, I want it to sound like a freigh train.
This is how I decided to mount the blow off valve, welding was done by my dad, I have the rest of the aluminum piping to complere my charge pipes
Hope you guys like my setup so far, turbo will be on next week hopefully so i'll take more pics.

looks good man, I"m glad you got your ---- figured out.
what clutch are you running? and for your Air horn, good luck finding a solenoid at a decent price that will control the kind of pressure from a paintball gun tank. Those things run over 900psi.

They dont bolt up properly, means I cant set it, the top flange bolts up, but the bottom 2 flanges are just below where the holes for the bolts are, internally i'd expect them to be the same, but I dunno, even though I have it bolted up on the one bolt now with the other 2 only tightened on the outside of the flanges, it dosnt run good, it ran perfect on my ZC, just not on the Z6. but when I bolted up my friends Z6 Dizzy it ran perfectly.
