Chineese proverb say, why you not just unplug speaker. And speaker not make beep for motherboard temp/memory warning. motherboard have buzzer.

I DLed the motherboard monitor. It says my case is at 80F, and CPU at 90F, so I don't think it's overheating. My case has like 8 fans, and they all work.

My motherboard is pretty old, 3-4 years, maybe? ASUS P4B266.

that could be your problem ;D

i.e. sapping voltage making the one fan that the sensor is connected to run at lower than usual rpms..

8 fans isnt good :-\ too much of anything can kill u ;)

too much nothing(1) will kill u too :P

This actually works. Makes your computer run much cooler and quiet, but it's a bitch to set up.

Go into your bios and see if there is any kind of temp/rpm monitoring. If there is, see what it's set at and see if your system is near the threshold. Simple.
