You guys should have beat the living **** out of the kid that showed you where the car was and left him there in the woods for the wolves.... Obviously if he knew where the car was he was a major player in the whole theft....

Haha back from the dead! Well I guess it wasn't that dead. I think stealthmode is shipping my feed line, then all I need is an ecu and wastegate before it will be back to normal (had to borrow an ecu and wg to move it).

is the key cylinder (internals) all messed up only or is the whole key cylinder broken too?
also, is the switch still okay? or broke off?

I had to replace 3 of these on 3 cars

Is the switch that white thingy? Yeah that is still there. I think the whole key cylinder part is out in the woods or something, it might be in my car, but I'll have to check.

If it's just the cylinder, you can buy a replacement, but more than likely will be a different key from the doors. I purchased one, years ago for my old civic for $90, Pepboys. Next time I had to do this, I found one from a parts car that I had a key for it, drilled the screws/rivets that hold it in place and replaced the whole thing.

If you can find one at a junkyard with the key, it might be cheaper to do. A good locksmith can make a key from a cylinder also.

Or you can get an universal crappy $5.00 ignition switch for a tractor from walmart, but that's not safe at all

Make sure the ignition switch (white thing) isnt chewed up inside from a screw driver.
If you have access to a junkyard, get the switch with connected wiring. (other side is just a couple plugs)
Get the cylinder unit. (aluminum part)
Pep boys has replacement key cylinder locks (inside part) with new keys for around $40. Or the whole unit for more $.

If you go to the junk, make sure to brind needle nose pliers and flathead to get the 2 "round head" bolts that hold the unit in place.
